My fiance and I just moved into an apartment building on Wright Place, near the Scarsdale Metro North station. We're very confused about the parking situation, especially with regard to visitors. It would be great if someone could answer any/all of the following questions:
Is there anywhere out-of-town guests can park for the weekend?
Also, it appears as though some parking spaces allow for overnight parking, but not during the winter. In the winter, where do visitors park overnight?
There is 12 hour off-street metered parking along Scarsdale Ave in both Eastchester and Scarsdale that says residence permits are required from 8am - 11am (East.) and 6am - 11am (Scarsdale). Can non-residents park in those metered spots outside of those times?
And finally, in case we can't figure this out despite our best efforts, how much are parking tickets and how rigorously enforced are the parking regulations?
Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
