Hi everyone,

We are close to getting into a contract on a house in Bedford Corners with a septic system.

The house inspection was great since the house has been very well maintained but on talking to the company who pumped their septic last (Vogler brothers), they indicated that it is an older round shaped brick septic tank (I think they mentioned Costa tank but I do not know what it is).

We are doing an inspection on the septic system tomorrow but I am worried that the older tank might mean problems for us in the future even if it passes inspection now.

Has anyone had experiences with older brick septic tanks? I will add more info once I find out more tomorrow, but would love to hear any experiences or opinions.

Thanks!
