Hello, I was curious what is in and around the Purchase College area which I believe is in HarrisonNY?

Coming up from Virginia last weekend in April then going to see some relatives in the Lake Carmel area.

I was invited to a lacrosse game that one of my relatives daughters plays in, so that looks like April 29th.

Anyways thanks for any and all info you may share.

What exactly are you looking for? The nearest "towns" are in Rye Brook (the Rye Ridge shopping center; Purchase has a shuttle to and from there), and Greenwich (CT, high-end walkable). Two malls also in nearby White Plains. Across the street from Purchase college is the Pepsico headquarters which has a great sculpture garden, walking trails which could be nice in April (but you would have to check opening hours).

Any good pizza or bagel places near by? Hear in Virginia we're known for ham, wine, and moonshine, pizza and bagels not so much.

I tell ya I wouldnt mind getting a really good Italian sub while I'm up there.

If you want a great Italian Sub you can head to Mamaroneck (about 10-15 drive) and go to Anthony's Deli. No seats to eat just pick up. Great "subs", we call them wedges here.. The Godfather is a great Italian "Wedge"...

Good Jewish bagel shop in Rye Ridge shopping center.. Lenny's. Down street is a good pizza place, John's of Arthur Ave. Best Italian bread shop close by in Port Chester, JJ Cassone's (not a full deli however people come from far and wide for their bread), and also in PC is Neri's bakery for Italian baked goods.
