we have a number of window wells that have been covered up by soil, leaves and debris. i believe this is covering up existing drains in the wells (one well does not have significant debris, and has some clay pipe exposed, which looks to be a drain). i believe the rest of the wells need to be dug out to at least this level, and then possibly covered with some gravel? this sort of job seems too small for a basement waterproofing company, however. any suggestions on who could do this sort of job- a handyman? someone else?
