Latinx is a racist term invented by snowflake liberals to make Latin Americans genderless and disregard their language, which is gender based. I've literally been told by Spanish speaking people not to call them that- they find it offensive.
I remember a day when we just interacted with people, not "I need to be around people of a certain race to feel comfortable...".
But hey I'm an old school New Yorker. "Hey man, who fixed your car?" "That Dominican guy up the street. Fixed it for 1/2 the price of the dealership".
"Yo, those Italian mother f-ers down on Broadway know how to make a good eggplant parmesan. Try this sh-t".

Life went on and no one dwelled on it.
Agree with this 100%. Spanish (like Italian) is a beautiful gender based language that is horribly disfigured by the radical snowflakes that want to strip everything of its natural identity. "Latinx" should be discarded on the ash heap of history.
And as an Italian-American, I have zero problem with hearing about "the old Italian guy over on McLean Avenue that makes amazing f-ing pizza."

As a Latino, I endorse this message.
On the same token, I don't want to add to making this thread political.
With that being said, if the OP is looking for a LATINO community (in Westchester), they now know where to go.
Thanks to those who provided recommendations. I will pass it along.
