Hi all. Debating between two homes, one in Pelham (manor area) and one in Bronxville. Any feedback on communities? We are a young family with preschool age children and would like to be around similar age families that are friendly and easy going.

First off, make sure you are aware of the school district for each. That controls where you really live. Don't assume that a home is "in" Bronxville, simply because it has a Bronxville address. Many Bronxville mailing addresses are in the City of Yonkers.

Assuming you are asking about school districts, both are great places to live and raise families. Bronxville provides small schools, in terms of class size (meaning the amount of kids in 5th grade, 6th grade, etc). Some people love this, some hate it. It will be more uniformly wealthy and private school-ish than Pelham. Pelham is more or less right down the middle in terms of class size, and will be more diverse than Bronxville, in terms of ethnicities and economics, but not hugely diverse in the general sense.
