I need to know if its a good area? If its an easy commute to NYC?
If they have good schools? I was planning on moving to the NJ area. Heard to many bad stories. So Ive decided to find out about Westchester. I want to be able to move closer to the city. Dont want to actually live in the city.
If you have any advice please reply to this message.

You live in New Jersey and never heard of Westchester? How can that be? It's like living in Jersey and asking about Manhattan. I mean, it's right there!
Anyway, Westchester is one big expensive suburban county. Very varied, but not cheap. You can buy houses or rent an apartment in towns like White Plains. I doubt there's any big crime problem there but those soccer moms drive their SUV's like hell, specially when they're drunk. I mean, lots of DUI's, as in all of America.
Why wouldn't you want to live in New York City? It's cool.

Im from upstate ny I was thinkin about movin to NJ or the westchester. I 2 little boys. I want an apartments in a good area were everything is close by.
Im thinkin about queens. I heard queens blvd was a nice area.
Mead, 2500 for a 1-bedroom? Heck yes! If you can afford it, there's no place on earth like Manhattan.
Martina, Queens Boulevard is huge and varied. It crosses almost the entire borough of Queens, so imagine the differences between neighborhoods. It's a super busy road with lots of shops and high-rises. Also known as the "Boulevard of Death" due to the many pedestrians killed.
