Streetsmart - which mosquito company did you use? I'm thinking about doing it this year. Thanks!

I guess it's worth a try as long as you are spending a lot of time in your own yard. I take my dog for long walks around the various parks so I'm permanently bitten. I'm also one of those people that gets attacked while others are left alone. I used to get reactions the size of tea saucers, but I think I'm building immunity because the bite reaction area is smaller now and they heal a lot quicker.
I tend to think while mosquitoes have a preference for certain blood types, everyone gets bitten but some people react a lot worse.

I think getting the yard treated is a good idea though. We move house in a few weeks, I might try it, especially since the yard will be near a large pond (as long as it doesn't hurt the bee population).

Well I find that in most cases mosquito services don't really work. I don't know is it because of the insecticide they use or what but they just cost money and give no results. Lately I have started to fog my backyard myself. I went online, bought a mosquito fogger and some insecticide and now fog my yard a couple of times a week. It's easy, MUCH cheaper and MUCH more effective.
