What is your opinion about this town that's right in Tarry Town, I believe. My DH all of sudden is stuck on idea of moving there. He said that he heard great things about it and he likes it there. We had been deciding where to move from Brooklyn for about 6 months now, we were considering Westchester, Eastchester, Staten Island, Jersey, Queens, you name it.
I posted a similar inquiry yesterday. I see you posted your's a couple of months ago and no one responded. Did you find anything about the area outside of this forum? Very interested to hear what you learned about the place. Thanks.
It's a nice Village. The two downtowns (Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow) are so close that they may as well be considered as one town. It is actually its own separate Village, located in the Town of Mount Pleasant. Tarrytown is in the Town of Greenburgh. Rents are a bit cheaper than Tarrytown as the latter is a bit more upscale. On-street parking is tight in both Villages due to the number of houses that have been converted to apartments.
Thanks, MJ. Any info you can shed on the post I created yesterday? I attached the link in my post above. Thanks!
