Any Insights into Eastchester and New Rochelle (public schools, taxes)

Hello everyone,

These are 2 areas that we are looking at for moving, we have 2 kids and good public schools are important. Can you please give any insights about these 2 areas.

Schools
Area - friendliness scale of people living there
Safety/crime
demographics etc

Eastchester schools are good . New Rochelle schools are good on the North side But all of New Rochelle goes to the 1 high school. that doesn't thrill me not only because of the teacher -student ratio but the riff raft also. Of course the amount of taxes they pay in both of these area's I think their schools should be at the very top of the list. But what can we do, So I guess what I am saying is if I had to choose Eastchester hands down. Very nice area
