I saw it. It's too bad they are here, but good the cops are trying to do something about it.
My fault, I wrongly assumed you were just trying to drag Chappaqua down by saying they have drugs too.

You need to get out more, I've been all over the country, both by car and rail, and don't miss Westchester County or New York one bit. Nothing compares to the Southwest! Arizona in particular. It's sad that many of our friends back east will never get to experience it. The only thing they know is Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties.

Do you come across scorpions and large spiders often?

Occasionally a Tarantula, but they don't bother anybody. They just meander along minding their own business. After almost 8 years here we've maybe seen less than a half dozen. We go out in the desert often and as of yet haven't seen or found one scorpion, not that we were looking for them, but they are all over the state. You just have to know where to look for them, usually under rocks or other dark spaces.

We've only seen two rattlesnakes, one that someone had already killed while panning for gold and the other was making its way across the road. There are lizards all over, they're fun to watch and we both love them. There are very few mosquito's thanks to the lizards, low humidity and lack of standing water.

It is great. Peekskill has some great places to eat and hang out. I love Peekskill. We live a mile away in Cortlandt, but our kids participate in youth sports in Peekskill, use the great Field Library and love the pubs, food and farmer's market. It is a great town that keeps getting better each year. It's far better than it was 10 years ago and will only improve.

The Paramount! what a turn around. We used to watch foreign films there, and now... Live A and B list band playing there. The coffee shop across the street. 4th of July parade. The list goes on.
