Does anyone have personal experience commuting from Chappaqua? I've heard that the parking lot was very poorly planned and it can take a really long time to get out of the lot after your commute home. Can anyone deny or confirm this rumor or provide any kind of information on the parking at the train station.
I don't think it is any different from any other train station. I just came from there. Yes, it can be a pain waiting in a line of cars. But at most, it's about 4 or 5 minutes. Typically, more like 2 or 3 minutes.
Chappaqua's a good commute. There are express trains directly from Chappaqua to GCT. And the parking lot is LARGE. You move in, get a permit, and you're good to go. If you hate waiting in a car line (yes it is 5 minutes), then take a slower train. You're train will arrive 5 minutes later, but there will be no/less traffic to get out of the station.
