Our family is looking to move to Westchester county within the next year. I have recently been taking many drawing and painting classes where I currently live. What communities have the most options for adult art classes? (These could be through the local art council or continuing education classes offered at a local University/college. I am too old to pursue another degree. I am just looking for personal enjoyment and growth in this area.) Any info on this would be great!

Westchester Community College in Vahalla, NY offers a lot of art courses. They even offer a wonderful course, Art Galleries of Manhattan, where the students meet the professor on Saturdays and tour different art galleries. They have a lot of classes in the evening also. Good luck.

NWCA (Northern Westchester Center for the Arts) in Mt. Kisco has a lot of classes. I'm sure Purchase college in Purchase offers gobs of art continuing ed classes as well.
