This address is in Yonkers, Bronxville zip. Two blocks over the border from Bronxville village. Nice street of pre-war apartments. You can walk to the Bronxville Metro North.

Bronxville is one of the most expensive, if not THE most expensive place to live in Westchester. It's a charming little village, but you pay a lot for charm, and an excellent school district.
This is just a guess, but I would imagine the average household income would be at least 300k annually, with many people making in the millions per year.

If you're not looking to use the schools and plan to commute via Metro North, that is a great location. It is as pleasant a village as you will find, and the pricyness will not affect you much: there's plenty of cheaper shopping and dining nearby (Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Yonkers), the price you're quoting reflects an out-of-school-district discount, and that will follow through to your taxes as well.

If you need the schools, you should check what your assigned Yonkers school district would be.

I agree. Great commute, you still get to enjoy the town, and you get a break on taxes. But the Yonkers district is not as robust especially if you need any special services.

I lived on Bronxville Rd. for six years and I absolutely loved it! I got to the station in literally 4 minutes and got to Grand Central in 25-27 minutes everyday. Trains are ALWAYS on time. I lived in Brooklyn before that and it took me 45 minutes to 1 hour to get anywhere by subway! I walked everywhere in Bronxville. 5 minutes to town, for stores and great restaurants. Farmer's market down the road. It was great!! prices for coops have gone down considerably... you'll find great bargains now!
