The differences between those three communities are pretty minor. All three have schools that are rated exceptionally highly, though some people feel they are too competitive. In that regard, Armonk probably has the worst reputation, but Briarcliff and Chappaqua are not that entirely different. Chappaqua is the largest school district on the list, Briarcliff is the smallest. I tend to think of Briarcliff as a smaller community, overall. Armonk does not have its own train station, which can make commuting into the city a hassle.
I know you were hoping for a detailed description of differences, but they are really very similar areas. Your kids are likely to have similar experiences in each district.
You cannot go wrong with any of these school districts. Briarcliff and Armonk are much smaller schools. Taxes are lowest in Armonk and area in gerenal probably has the most rural feel.
I am thinking of moving to Chappaqua, Armonk or Briarcliff. Can you give me some input on schools and community culture. Thank you...
For questions of about community culture the Urban Dictionary is always helpful and provides useful insights into the prevailing local values. Though slightly sophmoric it contains more than a little truth.
