eastchester - schools (home, purchasing, kindergarten)

we are considering purchasing a home in eastchester. my son is in kindergarten and he has an "iep". he has speech and o.t. and should be in an "ict" class. his main struggle is with writing and is behind in reading. he also has attention issues. can anyone tell me if the eastchester school system is a great one for kids who learn differently. we looked at the river towns (beautiful) but coming from queens eastchester feels like the least shock to the system for us in terms of change
