I may be the only person in Pound Ridge asking this question, but does anyone use a roof antenna and a converter box for TV reception? Wondering what antenna you use and what stations you get. I get PBS, PIX and sometimes ABC with an old antenna.

How well does it work? Maybe I'll join you. I cut off Cablevision some time back, now we just use streaming video from Hulu etc. It would be nice to get PBS at least.

I write for the RECORD-REVIEW and would be interested in responses you get to your query (especially after we were all burned with the Academy Awards blitz). That's great that you're off the grid with an antenna. Would love to hear more about it. Please contact me at towntalk@optonline.net.

no idea where pound ridge is, but I do this in white plains. I moved in recently so I haven't tweaked (get on the roof and position the antenna) it yet. I get a lot of channels, except in bad weather I lose a lot of them. ABC, NBC, FOX, PIX, 13, 3 Spanish channels. There is a government site that tells you what channels you should be getting. Don't have the link here though.
