Can anyone recommend or dis-recommend buildings/apartment complexes in Greenburgh (esp. Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Irvington, Dobbs Ferry & Hartsdale)?
We are looking to move to the area very soon. Our key factors are price, parking (need 2 spaces and do have company occasionally), and noise. We don't care about schools or train station access.
Any opinions on the apartment complexes just north of the Tappan Zee on Rt 9? The Beacon Hill Apartments in Dobbs Ferry?
I suggest looking into apartments which are rented out by the owner (ie. two and three family houses). You will find they are often in quieter neighborhoods and have a large driveway/street parking. The quality varies, but you can find very nice places. Check the pennysaver (you can usually find it for free in local stores).
