Thanks for your reply I truly appreciate that!! It helped me aand my wife alot because we a searching for an affordable area that we can afford. I like Harrison and White Plains as well.
I would say that Harrison schools are probably considered better than all of those, but with White Plains, you also have to be comfortable with a larger school system.
You might also look at the section of Rye Neck north of Halstead. It's close to the train, but so is the inexpensive portion of of Harrison.
Where are you commuting to? If not NYC, you will get a lot more for your money by pushing north a bit.
Thanks again this info is really helpful!! We will be commuting to the city most of the time. I am not comfortable with a large school setting so I might not go with White Plains.
