I had a couple of questions for any Humanists or folks of similar philosophical oulooks in the Asheville area. If you could contact me offline, I'd appreciate it!

I admit I had to GOOG the term...sounds like I how feel about most issues. However, I suspect the secular approach is not in the majority in western NC, or NC, imo.

I am a human and would be willing to talk to you about my experiences. Perhaps a pot luck with other humans might give you some insight. Do you like egg salad?

I think it's safe to say WNC is not big on Free Thinkers or Humanists. I like egg salad, but then you get into that whole 'which came first' issue...

I think the mayo comes first, then seasoning and lastly the chicken because you have to wait until it crosses the road. That answers that question.

Ah. Looks like the closest humanist meetup is in Greenville, SC. There's a UNitarian Church in Franklin that might have some humanists among the membership.

There's a Unitarian Church in Asheville and Boone, also.

Also a Unitarian church in Brevard. I think there's one in Hendersonville too - I know they have a Buddhist temple.
