Nope, you're wrong on all counts. Don't live in Asheville, don't personalize criticism of it, and most certainly don't "pounce" on those who do. In fact, I frequently warn people the job market in Asheville isn't particularly strong, and housing can be expensive.
From my perspective, I'm not defending anything, except the truth. You stated that Asheville was purposefully not trying to recruit new employers, which isn't true.
