MD, the part of your face we see, looks exactly how you look in my mind's eye!

Shot this in Hendersonville in September. Sorry for the blur but it was taken with the phone about 7:15PM.

Our snow last night didn't start until late (~5pm), but when it did fall, it was pretty heavy. It quit before we went to bed and we ended up with about 4". We are grateful to have gotten the predicted 6-12".

Awoke this moring to a beautiful white blanket underneath a stunning clear blue sky:

They cancelled school so the kids are out sledding to kick-off the extra-extended holiday weekend. They better sled while the can, because with sunshine like this, the snow won't be around for long.

Have fun, everybody!

Just gorgeous WNC-hiker - my family just loves the incredible concentration of waterfalls in the area - where was this picture taken? (any camera specs?)

I am so enjoying the pictures here. NC is by far my favorite state. Here's a pic I took a few years ago of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Cherokee.

Here's a couple pictures from my recent visit to Boone. These were taken on Howards Knob Rd.

Great pictures!

I Have a picture question: When I copy/paste a picture from my iphoto album in the message box, I only get the text/photo jpg info on the picture in the message box, not the actual photo. Is that how it goes until it is posted? Will the real photo show up in the actual thread. And is that what happens to you guys?
Thanks!
