Some recent pics from our deck view...odd and very wet weather most of last week.
Thanks for looking!
GL, mD

Unusual morning light, for about 5 mins, during the week+ of soaking rain/high winds. Looking down on Waynesville, Junaluska, Canton, et al:

Late Afternoon, same day, as the storm clouds rebuilt over the neighboring mtn ridges, but the sun broke through for 10 mins, 'on us'.

It isn't always great views, up here...days of rain last week often bring 'views' like this one:

A Dusk shot a few days ago, after more soakers. Mt Pisgah and TheColdMtn, under the cloud layers:

Rode up to Waterrock Knob a weekish ago, during a 'break' in the soakers. About 5 miles from our mtn 'just around the corner', as the birds fly and a nice 30 min ride from our house to WK, via the BRPkway. B&W which seemed more fitting for that afternoon:

After Dusk, but the sun's rays 'bend around' the curve of the earth, refraction through the atmosphere, actually. A different look.

Views from our deck in Waynesville/Maggie Valley. Off in the distance to the far left is Ghost Town.

Nice pics, Beeavision!
Smoky Mtn Retreat?
If so, just 'over the mtn' from where we are.
Views are great here in MV/Waynesville...
