Where can I find a map with the city of Asheville boundaries or can someone give me an idea of the city limits in the area. Where does it end and then become out of city limits in Buncombe County? Is it just a specific zip? (28801) I tried to google it and can't find anything.

I'm not sure if that's what you are looking for, but it says it's the city boundary map

Actually, now that I think of it, I think it is what you're looking for...it's just such a weird map (with even a circle sitting off by itself detached from any logic!) that I doubted it!

I did see that but isn't that all of Asheville? I am trying to figure out what area is within city limits. I know you can live in Asheville and not be in the city limits where property taxes are less.

Yeah, that doesn't seem right. I'm glad you asked, because I should be looking it up too. I'll keep searching because I want to know also.

Hmm. Nope. I can't find it. 20 minutes and no results. Hopefully someone will come in with it tomorrow.

No clue. We are considered in the city jurisdiction but pay county taxes here in Arden. I once saw a map maybe in the news paper? It was all sorts of confusing. Try searching citizen times and city limits.

Again, are you thinking of moving Becky?

Asheville City Limits cover 11 zip codes. Maybe these will help:

Asheville, North Carolina Zip Code Boundary Map (NC)

or this:

Default We have an Asheville address

But are in the county. We are between the Fairview city limits and the Asheville limits. If you are looking at real estate listings, I believe that they should say if there are city or county taxes. It is confusing.
