Drugstore chain Rite Aid has announced Rite Aid #11558, 625 West Henderson Street, Marion, North Carolina 28752-4655, will close by January 2018. Its lease is expiring. Its pharmacy business is transferring to CVS #3534, 555 North Main Street, Marion, North Carolina 28752-3356.

The adjacent supermarket Ingle's #60, 609 West Henderson Street, Marion, North Carolina 28752-4655, is speculated for a rebuild/replacement.
