I know....sounds like MD holiday weekend could be even worse than last week, depending on the track of the storm...
We've not seen much rain so far here north of Weaverville' less than a quarter inch since this rainy spell started. The triangle between Leicester, Hot Springs and Weaverville historically has had under 40" annually. Supposedly the area around Weaverville was called Dry Ridge by the Native Americans.
When the drizzle lets up I'm going out to make sure the thank-you-m'ams are still in good shape. We have a quarter-mile gravel driveway that's steep in parts.
