I viewed a couple of movies, Green Book (DVD) and Hidden Figures (streaming). Both good movies.

We had a run around in the rain Saturday but it wasn't too bad and we just timed our getting in and out to avoid the worst. Hit a couple of estate sales (I'm easily entertained !) then bought some shrubs for the continuing saga of landscaping around a new build which will take f-o-r-e-v-e-r. Moving from the front around to the sides and hopefully back in the fall. Last year's shrubs and trees in front are all looking good except the gardenias bit the dust but they were a free gamble and will be replaced. Talked to our kids in WA and sang If You're Happy & You Know It with our granddaughter <3 and will skype with them again tomorrow. They were here for 9 days at the end of April but it seems like ages ago already.

Darling photo!

Yesterday I watched the movie Mildred Pierce on Turner Classic Movies, a Joan Crawford film. For some reason I'm off newer movies and am enjoying TCM immensely right now. I check their website for upcoming movies although some I want to see are on at 3am....

It does take longer than we'd like starting new landscaping. At least we have a good climate for it...not too hot or dry. Good luck with your new plantings...

Thank goodness for skype, when your family lives cross country!

I'd like to see Hidden Figures. Movies or shows that showcase women in previously unknown roles. Watched a show on PBS, Bletchley Circle, that detailed the women who participated in code breaking in England during WWII. Excellent.

All grass up and down driveway (1/2 mile long) and around house was cut/weed whacked Thursday, considering all the rain this weekend, looks like we'll be at it again.

Ok, just a FYI. My area west of Brevard is predicted to get 6-7 inches of rain over the next 6 days of so....that's a lot so just wanted to spread the word. Your area might not get as much of course....
