I am ready for spring too. These past couple days have been great. I love the warmth and sun. Hopefully, I can get started building my house soon since it was put on hold pending sewer approval. (it's a year later) It's now approved and on the list to be completed in the near future

Doing just fine thank you; the past few days have been wonderful, after lunch I load necessary equipment into my lawn cart and head to my helipad area in a field that's close to the house to weed wack an area of tall wild grass, haul it back to the burn barrel and fire it up...
Sure is great to be working out.

'Struggling' through another SW FL 'winter season', here at the EscapeWinter house...

While our good neighbors/friends back on our Mtn have had some serious single digit, and below zero weather, my daily check of their local weather shows the Feb Thaw and warm up isall across western NC, almost regardless of elevation.

Please tell my Mtn Home perennials and Japanese Maples it is not yet time to wake up and sprout.

'Down here' it has been a little cooler/more like normal for past couple months which is fine by me.
However, the full timers and long timers here are complaining and look like they are dressed to go tobogganing, on some mornings.

Hope all the usual Posters and readers are well.
GL, mD

Doing well here, actually here is down in the flatlands again. Probably won't get back to God's country for another several days.

C'mon MD, posting that picture is kin to rubbing our noses in it! LOL

Nice to see things blooming and prospering even if they are several hours south of us.

I don't want the single digits of last week, but c'mon... it's still ski season, and this week's warm weather is killing the slopes. All we ask for is cold enough temps to make snow for another 4-6 weeks.

Oh, a ski bunny! You'll surely get more snow made before April

Not a bunny... a serious skier. Besides, it's a big part of our winter economy in this neck of the woods.

Raining right now and a projected high tomorrow of 66. YUCK!
