We have a few APD friends of ours and know how they feel about the department and statements like the above from city leadership. Like to hear from other officers though still with the department or those who have departed (anonymously of course).
This is NOT A POST to come and attack them, their viewpoints or experiences, but one to hear honest feedback on the issues (good and bad) happening within the department, the city and surrounding community.
We love our law enforcement and first responder community, and despite the poor decisions of a small group of individuals in other cities realize they have a thankless job to do but in return do annamazing job for us and our communities each and every day.
