Looking for a clean safe apartment with in walking distance from App. for my daughter. Not having any luck looking online. Does anyone have any info or names of places that fit what I'm looking for. She does have friends that want to share. I'm in town now but leaving tommorrow.

You will not find much, if anything, that is within walking distance and still available. My son is a jr. at App and put a deposit on his apartment last March. It is not within walking distance but is nice, safe, and a good price. He is about 10 minutes drive from campus. He does have friends that found apartments close to campus but they are pricey and not as nice as his.

Yes, I see what you mean. My daughter is not going until next year but thanks for the March time frame. I though you would have to do it very early. We drove around all over taking phone numbers and names off of apartment biuldings. Thanks

If you want close to campus I would go ahead and call those numbers. Some places have a wait list already. App has become very popular. The Jr's and Sr's were told there would be no on campus housing available for them period. Start as early as you can. The apartments fill up very quickly. If your daughter is a freshman next year, she will be required to live on campus. If she is transfering, she can live in an apartment. It is a wonderful school. Good luck to her.
