To many *******s in Wichita. Most of the people wont even say hi to you. The nightlife is alright if you stay away from oldtown. If I want to go to a club I tend to go to OKC or Springfield to party for the weekend. Mite be a little bit of a drive but, it is worth it to me.

the problem with Wichita is that it has all the potential to be a really great place to live (i.e. Madison WI), as far as it's central location within the US; it has decent weather (four distinct seasons) but so many people here are so conservative and tight that the city will never amount to anything but a place where you can raise a family and watch your kids play baseball. Wichita is full of close minded people who want to stay in their protective little conservative, restrictive bubbles, they will shoot down any opportunities for change or improvement. The new DT arena was fought about, and griped over and nobody wanted it, and now look the entertainment it brings. As a result, progression and culture in this city will never be sustained. Any improvements will happen because they are force fed, just like the arena. I give up on this one horse town, just counting down till I can get the hell out!!

The person claims they "give up" on Wichita, but I bet they never contributed anything to make the city a better place. Probably just sat on their butt and ridiculed others.

Good call on a city you can't even spell correctly.
Try looking at the weather in OKC if you think "Witchita" has it bad. They've had more snow, tornadoes, flooding and major hailstorms in the last few months.
