To add to this question. I have the cox with powerboost...can't recall what the speed is atm. But does anybody just have the standard internet package? How is the speed? I was thinking about downgrading if the performance didn't suck too horribly.

I mostly (99.9%) use wifi. So I don't really care about the 'hardline' speed bc atm it seems like my router is the bottleneck....

We have Cox high speed preffered with powerboost (what ever that means!) and what wireless is, and have had very very little problems. A couple of times I had some problems getting online and customer service/tech service were very nice and walked me through how to fix it. Also have regular phone and limited basic cable. No problems. Very happy with Cox here.

I have cox base speed and its fine. I can stream a movie with no problem. I tried ATT and they are very hard to deal with. You can't get service from ATT at all.
