oh, I'm sure the nay sayers would love to see this happen. But if you read all the national headlines about who is suffering, it isn't the Bakken in ND or the plays in Texas. Those plays are withstanding the price of oil better than in the middle east. Most people are not too worried about a bust anytime soon...except the media. If the prices drop to around 45 dollars a barrel? Then there will be a cut back. But most of the companies in the Bakken have already inked their 2015 budgets. They say it will need to be 6 to 12 months of low prices before anything drastic happens. The real question is can the middle east hold out longer than the North American Shale play? Probably not since their entire countries governments and economies rely strictly on oil.

Anyone ever worked or is currently working in the California fields, ive been interested in moving down there and getting out of the bakken eventually... on another note I heard Haliburton laid off 1,000 ppl overseas...
