Rent.com
Apartments.com
ApartmentGuide.com

Those sites all list individual complexes and will have a list of amenities, including pets, etc. There is usually an additional charge for pets, but at least there are some places that do allow them.

Green Bay is an intellectual and cultural wasteland.
If you're a bar, beer and brat person its fine, although crime is on the rise.

I have never cared for Green Bay. I have grown up in Wausau and now reside as a college student in Menomonie. Green Bay has a real industrial feel and there is no "central downtown district". I believe the tallest building in town is the Holiday Inn? It's a larger city, but it is very spread out. If it weren't for the Packers, the appeal would be far less I believe.

Take it over leave it? I'd leave it.

The largest building (10 stories( is St. Vincent's Hospital which was built around 1958 and nothing has topped that building since, which shows the lack of progressiveness in Green Bay. Further east downtown, the largest building is the Bellin Building(9 stories) built about 90 yrs ago. As others have said the city just sort of sits there.

As always, you have all provided me with some great information. My husband starts his new job on the 19th and we found an apartment for him that will work with us on the rent / dog issue ~ ~ which I found off of rent.com = thanks ladoll. I will now be researching the schools, as me and the kids will be coming here in late October. Thanks again.

I'm going to go try to think of a town in WI were the people aren't fond of bars, beer, and brats.

I'll get back to you. Be patient, it might be a while.

So true, but that doesn't make Green Bay or Wisconsin bad.

True, but there's no denying Green Bay and WI has a big problem when it comes to drinking and driving. A problem that deserves far more attention that its currently receiving.

Not to mention all the domestic problems boozing causes.
