Next weekend is the Bayfield Apple Festival in Bayfield, WI --- this area is GORGEOUS during this time of year, and this festival is so great. Visiting Bayfield will show you Lake Superior too, if you're interested in seeing beautiful lakeshore scenery. For farm/country areas, anywhere surrounding Stevens Point or in the middle parts of the state will satisfy you. Enjoy your stay!

I'm back! It's been kind of hectic since my return. I traveled to several places in Wisconsin, including Stevens Point, Wausau, and La Crosse. I did take pictures and I will be posting very soon!

Husband and I took the ride up Hwy 27 from Black River Falls to Ladysmith last week. That is a gorgeous ride, esp. with the last remnants of fall color. Rolling hills, sometimes an Amish buggy riding down a country road in the distance. Very picturesque.
