I moved from the twin cities to Tomahawk Wisconsin 30 years ago! Yikes, I didnt plan to stay this long...anyway...we are making our last move to Osceola. Plan to retire and live out the "golden years: there in the small community close enough to the cities to enjoy them.
It has been a long time away and I am excited about getting back...almost home. When I was in my twenties I wanted to live in Marine on the St Croix. Fat chance! Try to make a living in any little town along the river!
If you had told me I would be living in Osceola thirty years ago I would have said, not a chance. Luckily we found a great house on a couple of acres and it is close enough to my father to be able to help him in his later years. Life is funny how it takes you full circle.
