I love watching this show.
Around the Corner with John McGivern

John is a hoot.
He seems so nice and a kid at heart.

He visits different towns in Wisconsin.

Does anyone else watch this?

I watch it! New to Wisconsin, so love learning about the different areas/people/businesses.

I've seen every episode so far except maybe the most recent one. But I'll be getting to it soon. IMO it's a little too booster-ish as if each episode were written by the feature location's chamber of commerce or tourism board, but I guess that's the point of the show.

I noticed lately they've been doing some cross-promoting with Dan Small/Outdoor Wisconsin. Speaking of which...

Outdoor Wisconsin is another good show to get ideas of where to undertake various activities around the state. As the name suggests, the show focuses primarily on outdoor recreation.

^ Agreed on the boosterism, but it's still a good watch if you stay aware of this fact.

Wisconsin Foodie is alright, too.

I just caught the end of the Menomonee Falls episode, that's where I grew up. I've seen the Riverwest episode, the Brady St episode. I'm waiting for the Rhinelander episode that comes out in April. That's my second home, my dad is from there. I go up all the time so it'll be interesting what they mention. You can get good ideas on what to do, stuff you never even thought of to do or even knew was there.

You'll probably learn all about it when the Rhinelander episode airs.
