I can think of 2 cities that have the same name, are adjacent to each other, and, of course, are in different states, Kansas City Kansas and Missouri. Texarkana Texas and Arkansas. if I include Canada, we have Niagara Falls in N.Y. and Canada and Vancouver., Canada and maybe Washington [not sure of this one].
looking for other pairs either in 2 U.S. states or one U.S. state and Canada.

As mentioned above, there's Sault Sainte Marie in Michigan, across the border from Sault Sainte Marie in Canada.
There's also Bristol, Virginia and Bristol, Tennessee.
A little less precise is the pair consisting of San Luis in Arizona and San Luis Rio Colorado in Mexico.
