Did any of you hear that *BOOM* at around 1:30 last night? Apparently it was caused by a meteor entering our atmosphere. I woke up but thought maybe I just tooted in my sleep. I had broccoli for dinner.
Artwork is hanging crookedly on the walls, so the house must have been given a bit of a shake, too.
Possible trajectory was into Lake Michigan outside of Sheboygan, but I haven't seen confirmation yet.

Did anyone see it?

If I would have gotten home 10 min later I would have seen it from outside as it was I just crawled in the sack around 1:20 when the backyard lit up like someone turned a light on along with very loud rumble that sounded like thunder. Chiton WI.

I saw some videos and it really did light up the sky quite a lot! I wish I could have seen it. A lot of people thought it was thunder and lightning, so maybe it wasn't that big of a deal. But, still not something you see every day.
