Hi! My husband may be relocating with his job to New Holstein. I have been looking on regular home search websites, and I don't see many houses. We typically like newer homes with nice finishes in the 350k to 550k range. 2500 to 3000 square feet. I haven't seen anything like this. I also really like living in a neighborhood...the type with a park and usually a pool (but it would be fine without)....where the neighbors all get together etc....My husband is willing to drive about 45 minutes. What towns should I look at? We have 2 small children so schools and activities are important first. Thank you!

Hi Sunnyb,

You might want to look into Fond du Lac, Appleton, Little Chute, Neenah-Menasha, Elkhart Lake, Sheboygan, West Bend, and Manitowoc. (I googled the distance from New Holstein and each listed city is 37 miles from center.) You would probably be able to find a really nice home in Sheboygan for the price range you're looking into. You'd have Lake Michigan there, too. Kohler is nearby and there are nice homes there, as well.

Good luck to you. If you need to know anything about Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, or Appleton, let me know. I lived in Fond du Lac for almost 2 decades, worked in Sheboygan for a few years and have been going to Appleton at least once a week since I was born. Best of luck to you and your family. I hope you find the perfect place!

My sister has lived in Plymouth for over 25 years. Nice town and the schools are good.
