I'm glad to hear things are working out! And I wouldn't be surprised if a co-worker invites him to Thanksgiving dinner. Or, if he chooses to go hiking or something, he will likely get warm friendly greetings from those he meets. There are lots of folks out enjoying recreational activities on holidays.
