When it was 70 below zero this past winter you would have been dead in 30 minutes in that temperature if not clothed properly. Next question.

I dislike the cold more. Even during the hottest summer days you can walk to the mailbox and stand outside talking to your neighbor in normal clothing plus the temperature is back in the 70s after sunset. On the coldest winter days everyone tries to get indoors as quickly as possible. It gets even colder after sunset.

Nowhere in the state of Wisconsin has the air temperature been -70F in recorded history.

You can die in 40 above zero if not clothed properly.

I have always hated hot, humid weather. Now a medical condition makes it so that I cannot breathe, to the point that the North Shore of Minnesota might be a retirement spot for us. Check out the summer temps as you move north from Duluth along the lake.

Have you seen the WI forecast for the next few days? It doesn't have to be the hottest place to determine if we prefer hot or cold.

Was out driving around in the heat with the top down, something we did with regularity when we lived in SC which had a much longer summer season than WI.
Cant do that in winter here lol. So while yes the rare days here like this can be hot I still say I’ll take this extreme over winter. It is all personal preference.

You use an open window as a gauge, I use clothing free of sweat. We all have our preferences.

What I don't understand is the people who complain about the cold/winter/snow yet continue to live in places like WI. I don't like the heat so I choose not to live in the south. Easy peasy.
