If you like Indian food, there are a couple in Green Bay- Taste of India and India Bhavan. I prefer 2 in Appleton- Sai Ram and India Darbar.

The Neville Public Museum, Bay Beach Amusement Park (super-cheap rides!) and the Green Bay Botanical Garden are all nice things to see. You'll see Green Bay Packers stuff everywhere, of course.

I personally love Oshkosh. The Paine Art Center and Gardens is lovely. It's a very safe place with lots of art. Main Street has some cute little shops. Appleton, Neenah, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Two Rivers, Algoma, and Kewaunee are also a lot of fun... Lake Michigan is beautiful in all seasons. I was just there last week, in fact (Manitowoc and Two Rivers.) Oshkosh is well known for EAA- Experimental Aircraft Association. People come from all over the world every year and the city becomes a little crazy!

Hope you have a safe move and that you'll enjoy your new locale!
