I would hope not. Everything wrong with this country, can be traced to the Deep South.

Funny- I would say everything wrong in USA can be traced to elitists mostly on the coasts. Deep south has some issues but certainly has not caused the societal damage in last 100 years like NY and/or CA.

Depending on what you are referring to. Being up by the Chilton area gave me that small town vibes, lots of farmland around open areas. Friendly people.

Whoa, the same can be said of all the leftist run cities, and much more accurately.

Yes, poor towns in rural Northwoods could have a similar feel.

Thankfully, it's conservative enough to not completely become some authoritarian wasteland, so far at least. WI still a bit too uptight, high-tax, nanny-state for me, but thankfully it's not coastal-bad yet.

Otherwise, I've spent a huge portion of my life in the deep south and similarities are few and far between.
Politics aside, forget guns, trucks, country music or whatever other silly stereotype people have about these places, Wisconsin has nothing like the deep south and general Americana would be the primary similarity that you will find. That's the case literally everywhere in the U.S.
At the most, you might come across individual people here and there that act like they'd be at home down south.
As far as whole areas or towns go? No.

I do not think this is true anymore. Rural Wisconsin is pretty authoritarian, and has started to give up on democracy. They believe in a lot of conspiracy theories, and only get their news from right wing sources. Most of the people in rural WI believe the 2020 election was stolen, but do not need any proof.
