Hi this is all new to me I am a single mother of two teens. I was hurt at work and lost my job I want to go back to work but can't yet. It has been two years I had to sell my house last year or I would of lost it. I am living just out of Madison I would like to move I but not sure where to go most places to rent hear is 1000 dollars and up. I have two weeks left can any one tell me if other parts of Wisconsin cost this much I need a three bed room and have a dog or can you tell me where to look on the net for a place I would like to go west but leaving the state I am to unsure of with to kids//pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif

Moving out of state with kids isn't the end of the world - people do it all the time. As long as you make the move during the summer before the kids have to start school, the transition should be smooth.

It's hard to recommend specific places though, as you don't give much criteria.

Default Living in Merrill

I moved here from Catonsville,Maryland in November, I have two kids as well. I transfered with my job and work in Wausau, but I bought a house in Merrill just before you enter town. My wife and kids love it here, there are plenty of outdoor activities as well as clubs and sports for the kids to be involved in. It's been a little less than a year but so far I would recomend Merrill to anyone looking for a smaller town that's family oriented.
