I'm a weather hound, I guess. I like the low pressure systems spinning, barometric changes, trade winds, the lakes playing into the forecast. In fact, I still watch WGN to get more details from Tom Skilling because he talks isobars!!!

Anybody else feel the earthquake at 4 this morning? I sure did. Usually sleep through the night but for some reason was lying awake around 3:30 and couldn't sleep. A little while later my bed started shaking - it was such a surreal feeling. Then I get up and hear on the news Chicago had an earthquake?? Yikes - what next?

Nope, we didn't feel anything. DH was up at 4 AM so he would have noticed it.

What's everyone been doing lately??? I'm busy with the senior center, went to see Cats in Appleton on Sunday, dinner at the Good Company and to Milwaukee yesterday.

We went to Tripoli Shrine Center, had lunch at Miss Katie's Cafe and saw the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit at the Milw. Museum. The Dead Sea Scroll exhibit is well worth the visit, I think, intense. I liked it, some thought it was too much to take in during the time we were allowed. It is a controlled exhibit, they only let in so many people at a time, requires a separate ticket also one for the headset.

It's been a crazy, busy few days for us.

I posted on FB that this week was the official start of our push to move home and omgosh! We have been inundated with people wanting to help us. Friends of all kinds, real and cyber, have offered to keep eyes and ears open for job openings for DH, apartments for our short term needs, etc. It's been overwhelming and very much appreciated.

So, how was CATS?? We thought about going but never made it.

I've just been enjoying the beautiful weather, there was a robin on my dads balcony in Portage the other day. The birds have been chirping like crazy in the mornings I think spring will be here soon. Susan was the Dead Sea thing on the Imax?

Just made reservations for Devil's Lake State Park campground in July. So excited! Then, after 3 days in Baraboo, up north to our property.
