Subzero temperatures in Madison again. -3F on March 3rd. Yes, this March will be much much colder than March of 2012.

Ha ha, I used to go out and start my Chevy diesel every few hours just to keep it warmed up and ready to go do my delivery work. Never got much sleep during the winter.
Those were the good old days?

My mostest world infamous prediction is that you can leave the snow boots behind, temps will be a balmy 60 degrees daily dropping into the mid 40's at night. Temps might rise into the 70's during the day.

Here is an interesting fact of the day. The average high temperature so far this March in Madison has been 31F. This is the exact same average high temperature for entire month of January 2013.

The highest temperature so far this March has been 40F. 40s and possibly over 50F could be possible by the end of the month. April looks to feature temperatures that look average to above average from what I'm seeing on the computer models now.

Well I got some good news, I have a job again. (Many of you know that Allstate closed our Cross Plains claims office). I will be working as a catastrophe adjuster in Sun Prairie at QBE. I'm stoked, something I've always enjoyed was helping others, especially during life changing events. I start in about 3 weeks. I will miss my Cross Plains commute but I think I can tolerate the longer commute for something I love.

I have to say having the last 3 months off has been great, it gave me a lot of time to contemplate and to deal with losing a job that I loved so much. I hope everyone has a happy Easter.
