Default Uh oh... did I miss the memo on Wisconsin?

So now I've just signed up hoping to hear of some cool things to do the Green Bay area and none of the forum chats have anything going on with them.

Even on the Wisconsin Chat it seems like it isn't real active.

Here I was hoping to find some new and interesting things to see and do. What does everyone do? Hibernate all winter?? I come from a wet climate and we don't walk around with umbrellas and I've lived in the snow climates... So come on everyone, tell me some interesting things to do and where to meet some fun folks?

Leslie Smith, to your point:

In this Wisconsin forum, you responded 8 MONTHS, after mine!

You see why I prefer to chat in Illinois!!!!?????

MJ, you sort of missed 2 things. 1) she just got here! and B) she seeks local folks. Since the pandemic meeting new folks (in person) is moving along about as fast as wax in a freezer for many.

Yes, many of us hibernate all winter or as much as possible.
The rest of the time we eat and drink a lot which is why we are fat

Sonny3, but if anyone wants to try one of my Tae Kwon Do classes, it just might help with this "fatness" you mention!

Send me a message, anyone, if you'd like to come watch or try a class!!

Everyone survive the storm last night? I went out about 8 pm & couldn't believe how windy it was. Then I went out again about 9:30 as the storm front was approaching (SW Wisconsin) & it was a whole another level of windy I haven't experienced in my life. Somehow our house didn't lose power, but all the neighboring towns did. I read several trees were down on streets or power lines last night with some trees on fire.

All this on Dec 15th!

everwinter, good looking out!

I woke up to see the power went out for a bit (when that clock blinks 12:00:00!). But it was fine, after that.

However, driving to work in Waukesha, coming up Hwy 18, there were many blocks where the businesses and stop lights WERE out!

Hopefully you are all ok. You might need a nap to catch up on that sleep that was disrupted!
