I am doing research on starting a small, local touring co. I have only found a few on the web, in the entire state! My hypothetical tours would be to off the beaten path places geared towards all types of people and groups. Limiting to 10 to 16 people.
Are there any other small touring companies in or near Appleton?
Is this a good idea?
Any advice or information will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Thumbs up Wineries

Someone should start a tour of the Wisconsin wineries. I know there are several now within a couple hours of each other. Maybe from the Fox Valley region up through Door County? The Green Bay Press Gazette ran an article awhile back about the new Ledgeview winery and listed several others.

These links might help you do some research:
Wisconsin Department of Commerce: Homepage
TravelWisconsin.com, the premier destination for planning your next Wisconsin vacation or Wisconsin getaway.

Also, checking out the websites of (or calling/visiting) chambers of commerce might give you an idea of any existing tour companies that are out there.
