Got down to 24 by me and everything is black and crispy. What an awful year for tomatoes and peppers, and squash and corn, and almost everything except green bean, carrotts and broccoli and potatoes, even zuchinni go wackafied. all that work and an early frost is the result. anyone else get whacked bad???

My predictions...
September 30, Madison gets 3" of the white stuff
October 17th La Crosse and Mid state see 6-8" of the white stuff
so on and so forth...

Geechie, You don't expect alot of snow? Alot of older folks I spoke to were telling me that I should be prepared for lots of snow... They're pretty wise when it comes to this stuff too..

Oh, I expect lot's of snow again this year. But I believe (and I reserve the right to be 100% wrong) there'll be above average temps and a couple of long thaws.

It isn't unusual so see some light flurries mid-Oct but several inches-unlikely, but you never know.
